AI Consulting
AI consulting for small businesses, starting at $299 instead of $5,000.
“I know AI matters. I don't know where to start or what's worth paying for.”
AI consulting for a small business should start small and pay back fast. Ours starts with a free 30-minute AI audit. Then one hands-on $299 hour on Zoom builds your first real workflow with you, with 14 days of email support while you build two more. After that, consulting is $125 an hour. If you'd rather have it built for you, we're AI automation consultants who build and run it.
We run a property company, a salon's back office and our own agency on the same AI systems we teach.
Why owners bounce off AI
You've heard AI could save you hours. Maybe you opened ChatGPT, typed something, got a mediocre answer and closed the tab. The tools are genuinely powerful, but nobody sets them up around your business, so they never earn a place in your week. That setup is the whole point of this session.
What AI consulting usually costs, and why ours starts at $299
Most AI consulting firms are built for bigger companies. Advice commonly runs $100 to $300 an hour, and a first project often starts around $5,000 and can climb past $50,000. That's a fair price for a company with a data team. It's the wrong starting point for an owner who wants AI saving hours by next week.
So we start with the smallest step that proves the value: one hour, one real workflow, $299. If it works, you'll know exactly what to do next. If it doesn't, you've spent $299, not $5,000.
Start with the free AI audit
Before you spend anything, book the free 30-minute AI audit. We look at where your hours actually go, which of them AI could take, what each option would cost to build and run, and the order we'd do it in if it were our business. You leave with a written plan whether or not you work with us.
How the session works
- We set up your AI properly: the right plan and your business context loaded in, so it knows what you do before you ask it anything.
- We build one real workflow from your actual week, start to finish: a quote, a customer reply, a follow-up or a piece of paperwork.
- You drive and we coach. By the end of the hour you've run it yourself, on your own machine, with your own work.
- 14 days of email support. When you hit a wall in week two, which is when most people quit, you email us and we get you unstuck.
What you leave with
- An AI setup that already knows your business, how you talk and what you sell.
- One workflow you've run yourself on your own work, and a plan for the next two.
- Saved prompts and steps you can reuse every day.
- A short list of what to automate next, and what to leave alone.
Workflows owners usually start with
- Writing quotes and estimates from a few notes.
- Replying to customer emails and messages in your voice.
- Turning a messy week of notes into a clean to-do list.
- Drafting job descriptions, social posts or simple policies.
- Summarizing a long document, contract or email thread.
What the support covers, and what it doesn't
The 14 days of email support are there to help you build two more workflows on your own, and to fix, tighten and answer questions along the way. They don't cover building new systems by email. If you want an agent that runs part of your business, that's a build, and we'll quote it plainly.
After the session
Consulting is $125 an hour on Zoom, for whatever you want to work through next: a new workflow, a tool decision, your team's setup, or a plan for what to automate first. Or take what you learned and run with it. No subscription.
Claude Code, ChatGPT and Codex
The tools owners ask us about most right now are Claude Code and Codex, the AI tools that build things for you from plain English. If you want to build your own tools with one of them, the same $299 session gets it installed, set up around your business and building something real, and the $125 Zoom hours are there when you get stuck. There's a page for each, and a plain comparison if you're deciding between them.
Honest advice on tools and cost
Part of the hour is making sure you're not overpaying. Most owners either pay for AI tools they never use or try to get by on a free plan that can't do the job. We'll tell you which plan fits how you actually work, which features are worth it, and where a simple workflow beats an expensive tool. If something you're considering isn't worth the money, we'll say so.
When you're ready for more than a session
Some owners leave the session with everything they need. Others realize there's a bigger job worth automating: answering the phone, following up with leads, running the books or pulling their numbers together every month. That's where our builds come in, and the session is the best way to find out which, if any, would pay for itself.
AI automation consultants, when you want it built
Some owners don't want to learn it. They want it done. That's where we work as AI automation consultants: we map the job, build the agent, connect it to the tools you already use, and you have direct access to us through setup and your first 30 days of using it. A single agent starts at $499, packages start at $1,999, and you pay once, with no monthly license fee. Usage and optional care are extra. Every agent we run is listed with what it does and where it's working today.
Anywhere in the U.S.
Sessions are on Zoom and everything we build runs in the cloud, so we work with small businesses anywhere in the country. In Denver and Pittsburgh, we're happy to sit down in person.
We run real businesses on this
This isn't theory. We run a property company, a salon's back office and our own agency on the same AI systems, and we've built AI receptionists, bookkeeping agents and operations systems that run every day. We'll show you what actually works, and tell you honestly what to skip.
Who it's for
Owners and managers who want AI working in their week, not another tab they never open. Solo operators, small teams and established businesses all get the same thing out of it: a working setup and a clear idea of what to do next.
Questions owners ask
How much does AI consulting cost for a small business?

What does the $299 session include?
One hands-on hour on Zoom to build your first real workflow, then 14 days of email support to help you build two more.
Do you work with businesses outside Denver and Pittsburgh?

Which AI tools do you use?
Mostly Claude and ChatGPT, including Claude Code and Codex for owners who want to build their own tools. We'll recommend the right plan for how you work.
Can you teach me Claude Code or Codex?
Yes. The $299 session installs it with you, sets the guardrails and builds one real thing. After that, help is $125 an hour on Zoom.
Do I need to be technical?
No. If you can use email, you can do this. We set it up with you and you run your first workflow yourself before the hour is over.
Can my team join?
Yes. Bring whoever will use it. The session is built around your real work, so it helps to have the people who do that work on the call.
